What is LSVT BIG?
LSVT BIG is an intensive, therapeutic exercise program developed for people with Parkinson’s Disease and other motor function disorders.
Personalized treatments designed by our LSVT BIG-certified therapists target improvement in walking, balance and activities of daily living. By increasing the amplitude of movements and retraining sensory awareness about normal mobility patterns, patients learn how to avoid inactivity and improve their quality of life. Our 4-week programs encourage skill acquisition and retainment.
Home to a large, well-appointed gym and private treatment rooms, our clinic is conveniently located at the corner of 8th Street and Garfield Ave. in Traverse City.
Our therapist-owned clinic was established to provide excellent, comprehensive therapeutic care to our community. Highly-trained, friendly and compassionate therapists focus on one patient at a time, providing one-on-one, personalized treatment.
We strive to bring a sense of empowerment and vitality to the rehabilitation process. Our areas of therapy include pre- and post-orthopedic surgery rehab, balance and gait disorders, fall risks and injury prevention, athletic injuries, arthritis and pain management, TMJ disorders, injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents, work related injuries, and neurological disorders.
